As a Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customers receive the best possible service when they bring their vehicles in for service or repair. You will be responsible for promoting accurate and productive workshop throughputs, helping to meet the departments financial and non-financial targets, as well as ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.
The successful candidate will have previous experience as a Service Advisor within the Motor Industry, with a strong attention to detail along with the ability to multitask and find innovative solutions to difficult problems. You will be able to deliver the highest levels of customer service to both external customers and the internal Service Department, maintaining the customer contact system.
In addition, you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to accurately use the dealership’s Dealer Management System (DMS) and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook). You will also have up to date knowledge of Service/Warranty Procedures to ensure any claims are processed fairly and as quickly as possible.

A PDI Centre near Southend-On-Sea, Essex is looking for a highly-skilled Master Technician. You will be apart of a team Technicians. This move could mean a job for life, as they have found the ideal formula for ensuring a low staff churn.
With a focus on individual strengths and personalities, they ensure the workload is spread fairly. For this particular role, they want someone who has expert diagnostic skills and the ability to pass on their knowledge to others.
The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out the more complex diagnostic work as well as routine servicing and repairs as and when needed. There will be duties centred around developing the skill sets of others around you. As well as, speaking with customers directly from time to time to explain certain faults.
In time, you will also be the mentor to the other less experience PDI Technicians.
Requirements
It would be ideal, if you held NVQ Levels 1, 2 and 3 or equivalent as well as have main dealerships experience working as a Diagnostic or Master Technician. That said, most experience will be considered.
Salary and Benefits
They are looking to offer a basic salary £28,000 – £33,000. The OTE will be between £45,000 – £75,000. They will also provide you with a company car.
The working hours are 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday, Saturdays are 1 in 3, 8am – 1pm.
