Embark on a transformative journey as a Training Manager with our client, a leading automotive OEM based in Dubai. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping and implementing the training strategy to align with business objectives and network needs across the GCC
Key Responsibilities
As the Training Manager, your responsibilities include planning and executing the training strategy, managing budgets, and fostering strong vendor relationships. You will conduct a thorough needs analysis, identifying training requirements through career path reviews and stakeholder consultations.
Designing personalised learning paths is a core aspect of this role, aimed at enhancing team skills, knowledge, and behaviours. You will drive new business competency initiatives, particularly in preparation for new model launches, ensuring a highly skilled retail network.
Your role extends to measuring program quality, success, and effectiveness, focusing on overseeing trainer skills and knowledge for efficient service delivery. You will also manage resource requirements, and enhance training methods, including mobile learning, virtual classrooms, and coaching.
In a supportive capacity, you will assist importers in recruitment, engagement, and local training activities. Staying abreast of the latest learning trends and best practices is integral to your dedication to excellence.
Ideal Candidate
You hold a university degree in Business Administration/Commerce or a related field and bring a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Training Manager gained within the wholesale or retail automotive sectors. Proven expertise in influencing senior stakeholders, coupled with leadership experience in agency steering, is crucial.
You should have primary management skills related to Training Centre operations and financials. Any expertise in qualification and HR development will be a distinct advantage.
