Working on new and used vehicles you will be inspecting vehicles, repairing and servicing. This will involve repairing any defects, replacing any damaged parts and ensuring the car is safe for use.
This would be the ideal position to get experience within a main dealer, with the added benefit of working for a company that will train and progress you.

The Ideal Candidate;
You will need to have a proven interest in this specific field, having obtained relevant City and Guilds, NVQ or IMI qualifications Level 2 at least.
A Full Driving licence is also a must as you will be responsible for assisting in the movement and fuelling of vehicles.
An excellent work ethic is essential too; turning up on time, showing a willingness to learn and be a team player.
The Package
The basic salary on offer is £30,800 with an OTE of £40,000. You will also have the chance to progress up further in the company, which of course would result in an increase in salary.
It will be working a 40 hour week, hours are flexible to a degree. Saturday’s would be on a rota basis.

Package
They will be looking to offer a basic salary starting at £31,500 up to £37,000 – depending on experience.

Responsibilities
As a skilled Mechanic or Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of sales vehicles. With responsibility for conducting a range of tests to identify any potential issues with vehicles, including emissions, brakes, and suspension, among others.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience as a Technician or Mechanic and be IMI Level 3 or Equivalent qualified. You should also have excellent attention to detail, strong servicing and diagnostic skills, with the ability to work efficiently, to ensure a first time fix.
