The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily control of the workshop in order to maintain a high level of productivity and quality repair. You will also be responsible for a team of 10+ Technicians, motivating, supporting and leading them to drive the business forward. I am currently working great Hounslow based business in search of a Parts Advisor to join this friendly, proactive team for a commercial vehicle dealership.
The Role
- As the Parts Advisor you will be working on the back counter, ensuring the Technicians have the correct and required parts.
- You will need to have experience working in either a main dealer, independent garage or motor factors working in the parts department.
- Commercial vehicle experience is ideal as this will help you to hit the ground running.
What’s on offer?
They are looking to pay a basic salary of £28,000 – £30,000 basic with an OTE (on target earnings) of £34,000 – £37,000.
The hours are: Monday to Friday, working a 42.5 hour week they are flexible with start times. Saturday’s 1 in 4, 7am – 12pm. This is paid at time and a half.

They will be looking to offer a basic salary between £25,000 – £29,000 plus bonus.

Experience
You will need to have NVQ, IMI or City and Guilds Level 1, 2 and 3 in Vehicle Repairs. If you have Light Vehicle (Van) experience, then this would be ideal.
However, this company would also consider someone from a passenger car background. Please note this role will be working on vans only.
The Salary and Benefits
They are looking to pay you a flat basic salary of £41,150. This equates to £18.50 per hour plus £15 per shift worked.
The hours are Monday to Thursday 8pm – 6:30am.
You will also be put onto the latest manufacturer training to expand and build upon your skill set. Your salary will also be reviewed periodically.
Once you have attained your qualifications in line with the brand, you will received an additional guarantee of £150 – £350 per month.
