Role Details
Job Title: Motor Vehicle Technician
Location: Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire
Salary: £27,000 to £32,000 per annum with an OTE of £51,200 plus benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm with an hour for lunch. You will also be required to work Saturdays on a 1 in 3 rotation, from 8.30am to 12.30pm
Our client is an established dealership based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, and they are currently seeking an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to join their dynamic and friendly workshop team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about the automotive industry and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
As a Motor Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out routine servicing, diagnostic testing, and repairing vehicles to the highest standard. You will also be responsible for conducting comprehensive checks on vehicles, identifying faults and carrying out necessary repairs in line with manufacturer standards. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various types of vehicles, excellent diagnostic skills, and a strong understanding of automotive technology.
Requirements
- Level 3 NVQ in Motor Vehicle Repair or equivalent qualification
- A valid UK driving licence
- At least 3 years' experience working as a Motor Vehicle Technician
- Excellent diagnostic skills and a strong understanding of automotive technology
- A passion for delivering excellent customer service
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Salary and Benefits
Our Client is offering a competitive salary of £27,000 to £32,000 per annum with an OTE of £51,200 plus benefits. In addition, you will receive contributory pension and other benefits.
