Job Title: Motor Vehicle Technician
Location: Brentford, Middlesex
Salary: £30,000 – £38,000 with an OTE of £54,000 plus company benefits

Our client, a prestige brand dealership based in Brentford, Middlesex are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their team. Responsibilities

Reporting to the Workshop Controller, you will have responsibility for the maintenance and repair of a selection of motor vehicles
Working to ensure the highest standards of customer satisfaction, by performing a ‘first time fix’
Checking the information provided by the customer and Service Advisor on the Job card, ensuring there is enough information for you to be able to complete the repair
Maintaining quality standards and customer service, as well as following health and safety guidelines at all times
Ensuring accurate collection and recording of customer data in line with company standards
Maximising customer satisfaction by working as part of a team
Keeping the service team and internal workshop informed of expected timescales of completion of the repair and timescales
Ensuring the necessary paperwork is completed and the service department is updated of any additional work required, using the Vehicle Health Check
Attend Training courses and complete online training to keep up to date
Follow the instructions on the job card and report any additional work required
Work to a high standard, within manufacturer guidelines

Requirements

Successful track record within the role, ideally with franchise experience in the motor industry
Have your own set of Tools (Specialist tools will be provided)
Recognise the importance of working as part of a team to provide the best levels of service
Be familiar with working on a range of models of cars in an accurate and efficient manner
Focus on delivering high standards of customer service and a first-time fix

Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 OTE £40k plus great benefits

We are handling a great opportunity on behalf of our client, a prestige dealership known for providing exceptional customer service and high-quality products based in Brentford, Middlesex who are seeking to recruit an experienced Service Advisor.

The main purpose of the role is to ensure the efficient operation of the workshop team, to meet and exceed customer expectations, and maximise workshop profitability. You will be responsible for taking bookings for the service department, liaising with inter-departmental staff, validating Dealer Management System (DMS) records, scheduling all work to maximise utilisation, and offering all customers an estimate for work booked.

To be successful in this role, you must have experience in working as a Service Advisor within the motor trade. You must have fantastic customer service skills, be able to prioritise your workload, and enjoy working in a busy environment.

In return, our client offers a competitive salary of £28,800 – £30,000 basic plus a bonus of £10k per annum (OTE £40,000). You will be joining a well-established and respected dealership that values its employees and provides excellent training and career progression opportunities.
