Job Title: Parts Advisor
Location: Croydon, Surrey
Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 with an OTE of £36,000 plus company benefits
We are recruiting for an experienced Parts Advisor to join our client's Car Parts Centre in Croydon, Surrey.
The ideal candidate will be familiar with dealing with retail, internal and workshop car parts, using Parts Catalogues and enjoy working in a challenging, fast paced, rewarding working environment.

What you’ll be doing

Utilise Keyloop Autoline software proficiently to manage parts inventory and orders

Assist customers in identifying and sourcing the right parts for their vehicles

Process parts orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery

Maintain a tidy and organised parts department, adhering to health and safety standards

Collaborate closely with service advisors and technicians to fulfil customer needs

Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
Here’s how the role aligns with your profile

Previous experience as a Parts Advisor in the automotive industry, either dealership or parts factor

Proficiency in using Autoline DMS software is advantageous

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities

Attention to detail and accuracy in processing parts orders
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm, with an hour lunch break
Alternative Saturdays (to change to one in 3), 8:00 am to 1:00 pm (contracted)
Salary and Benefits
Salary: £25,000 per annum with a realistic OTE £33,000 pa

Our Welwyn Garden City-based client is a passenger car dealership operating from a great facility, they are seeking a dealer-experienced Parts Sales Advisor to join their friendly team.
What you’ll be doing
- Interacting with retail, trade and internal customers to identify their parts needs, providing recommendations, and assisting with inquiries regarding availability, pricing, and compatibility of parts
- Utilising parts catalogues, computer systems, and manufacturer resources to accurately identify and locate the correct parts for customers' vehicles based on make, model, and year
- Processing parts orders efficiently and accurately, including entering orders into the dealership's computer system, verifying pricing and availability, and coordinating with suppliers or warehouses for timely delivery
- Maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and replenishing inventory as needed to ensure sufficient availability of parts for customers and service technicians
- Actively promoting parts sales by recommending additional parts or accessories to customers, upselling related products or services, and maximising sales opportunities to meet or exceed sales targets
- Overall, you play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the availability of parts, and contributing to the overall success of the parts department and dealership
How the role aligns with your profile
- You are currently a Parts Advisor or Parts Sales Advisor working in a passenger car dealership, or a parts factors
- You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to provide a consistent level of high quality service
What does this opportunity give you
Basic salary £30,000 with a £40k OTE and additional company benefits

8 am – 6 pm Mon – Fri, with 1 in 4 Saturday's 8 am – 12 pm
