Job Title: Parts Manager
Location: Watford, Hertfordshire
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 with an OTE of £50,000 plus company benefits
Our client, an award-winning dealership based in Watford, Hertfordshire, is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Parts Manager to join their team. Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Aftersales Manager, you will have responsibility for the parts department, ensuring the highest standards of customer satisfaction are achieved
- Monitoring and controlling costs in line with the business plan, whilst maintaining quality standards and customer service
- Ensuring accurate collection and recording of customer data in line with company standards
- Adhering to manufacturer standards and health and safety guidelines at all times
- Monitoring performance and implementing effective processes to achieve the highest possible customer satisfaction
- Driving the business forward and maximising customer satisfaction whilst motivating and managing the entire team
- Managing the complete parts process, from delivery and storage, through to ordering and invoicing
- Organising the parts department, stock control, stock takes, ensuring parts are stored in the correct areas, ordering and pre-picking as well as managing the payment process and invoicing
- Keeping customers and internal workshop informed of expected timescales of ordered and back ordered parts
- Ensuring the necessary paperwork is completed and corrected filed and payment is taken prior to release of parts
Requirements
- Successful track record within the role, ideally with franchise experience in the motor industry
- Ability to generate impressive results by increasing performance, profitability and operating efficiency
- Strong leadership and people management skills
