
A rare and highly sought after opportunity in the United Arab Emirates; our client is seeking an automotive Sales Director to assume responsibility for their multi-franchised dealerships, working closely with the senior management team to develop the business plan in order to ensure performance targets are exceeded.
The Role
- Direct and coordinate the sales and marketing function to ensure growth objectives are met and exceeded. Recruit, develop and lead high calibre sales and marketing staff
- Identify and manage key relationships with prospective customers and partners in order to secure new business in line with timelines and targets identified in the business plan
- Directly manage major and critical developing client accounts, and coordinate the management of all other customers to ensure client satisfaction / retention targets are met
- Develop and coordinate a brand management and external communications strategy, overseeing all public relations, internet and media communications
- Develop and coordinate the sales selling cycle and methodology, ensuring it is fit for purpose with our clients' products and services
- Oversee all marketing activity to identify and develop new customers for products and services, maintaining and reporting up to date market intelligence
- Manage sales and marketing budgets to ensure maximum value and return on investment
- Participate in the development of new project proposals
- Represent our client at relevant events globally, to positively promote the company
Who we're looking for
- Ideally degree educated, with a proven track record of in a senior automotive sales management role with a leading
- A proven track record of growing market share
- Confidence, energy, drive and determination
- Results focused, able to demonstrate a history of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Well developed strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects
- A track record of planning marketing strategies and campaigns
- Proven leadership ability to influence at senior levels, as well as develop, motivate and mentor employees to achieve objectives
- A culturally aware relationship builder, clam under pressure and credible at all levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation skills
