
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced passenger car General Manager to join a major automotive group in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Responsibilities
o Manage sales, marketing and Aftersales staff to ensure they meet sales and operational targets that are set by senior management
o Develop and implement strategic marketing and sales forecasts in line with the company's brand objectives and manufacturer targets
o Ensure staff undertake their responsibilities to the highest standards
o Manage operational marketing budgets to ensure efficient utilisation and maximise returns
o Agree departmental budgets with all reporting managers within the hierarchy
o Develop procedures and processes to ensure the sales function identifies all revenue opportunities
o Formulate the brand's pricing strategy and ensure its implementation through the New Car Sales Manager and Pre-owned Sales Manager
o Analyse sales reports on a monthly basis for sales volume, potential revenue and areas of revenue expansion
o Stock management to include analysis of fast moving stock and lines that maximise profits
o Reduce stock holding periods
o Maintain excellent relations with brand offices, business partners and customers
o Ensure all departments maintain manufacturer reports that are produced in accordance with guidelines and on a timely and relevant basis
o Agree commission and incentive schemes for staff
o Represent the brand in advertising, meetings and open days
o Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills during brand awareness and marketing opportunities
o Provide strategic reports to the Chairman and board of directors
Experience
o Degree in Business or Marketing
o Currently working as General Manager or Managing Director of a large automotive car business
o Experience of working in the Gulf and/or PLC structure in Europe
o Exposure to prestige and volume car sales operations
o Financially literate
o Understand budgets and the financial reporting process
o Excellent written skills
o Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic (preferred, although not essential)
o Computer literate
o Proven results within current and recent employment (references will be requested and taken)
