Registration process
Why do I need to provide ID as part of the registration process?
Legislation in the UK requires agencies to verify candidates are resident in the UK and have an automatic right to live and work in the country. We request a scanned copy of pages within your passport showing your photograph and personal details. The passport copy itself must be valid for at least two years at the time of submission.
I do not want to work in the UK, do I still need to provide a passport copy?
Yes, if you are selected for interview in the markets we operate in, the company will arrange your flight and request a copy of your passport to confirm the name on the ticket corresponds with your name on the passport. In our experience it saves a lot of time if we have this information available so the process is not unnecessarily delayed.
Why am I required to upload a digital photo?
Recruiting companies in the Gulf request a candidate photo as part of the application process. The photo, which should be professional looking (on a white background), will be imbedded to your CV before it is sent to the company.
What is the purpose of creating job seeker preferences?
We would like to ensure that we are searching for the right roles for you and use the preferences you have set up as the basis for our search and selection process. Setting up preferences also allows you to receive emails when positions that meet your criteria are that when vacancies arise you are kept informed of these through RSS alerts or emails.
Vacancies
What happens after I apply for a vacancy?
An alert is sent to the consultant handling the vacancy. Your application is reviewed to see if you meet the criteria for the role and if you are deemed suitable your application will be sent to recruiting company.
Why can’t all applications be sent to the recruiting company?
We request a candidate profile for the vacant position from the recruiting company to aid our search and selection process. It is in the interest of all parties that we submit relevant applications that meet the profile especially as we can receive over 200 applications per vacancy. Companies want to review a finite number of relevant CVs and expect our filtering process to deliver this.
Can I manage my applications?
Yes, you can view all your applications and also create a basket of new applications to add to your existing ones.
I have not heard back on my applications, what do I do?
