Home Executive Search Process
During an Executive Search we work with our clients to define, identify, attract and then, most importantly, help ensure that they retain the very strongest senior individuals in the marketplace, giving their organisation the most durable competitive advantage possible.
Executive Search is the only successful method for attracting and recruiting the very best and it is a misconception that this method of recruitment comes at an extra cost.
We believe in de-risking the process, giving our clients the confidence of being able to find retain the very best.
The de-risking process works in a number of different ways, however, there are some principal processes that we implement. An Executive Search is always preceded by a management or team audit. This tactical review ascertains:
- Whether the role truly requires recruiting
- The characteristics of the required individual
- The existing strengths and weaknesses of the team
- The cultural fit of the individual required
This knowledge allows a truly targeted job and person description to be established from the very outset of the assignment.
A specifically selected Researcher is assigned to each project to facilitate the identification and approach of leading individuals. The backbone of any successful Search is fundamentally based upon the research involved. Our researchers are all industry leaders with progressive networks and extensive contacts.
Our interview process is partly procedure driven and partly driven by the experience of our Consultants: it allows for a true analysis of the strengths, weaknesses and performance ability of any shortlisted candidates. This is backed up with up to four references for each candidate short listed, taken from managers, peers and subordinates.
Industry averages in terms of delivery and length of service of recruited candidates are simply not acceptable to HCP International.
Through taking the right precautions established during the Management Audit phase at the beginning of every Search, we increase the likelihood of a good cultural fit and the probability that the prospective employee will excel beyond expectation.
