David Steele, Global Marketing Director at Jaguar Land Rover

Thursday 10th of November 2011 was an important day for Jaguar. It marked a turning point for the brand as they presented their new concept, the CX75, ‘a halo car for the Jaguar brand’. C for concept, X for experiment, and 75 for 75 years of the Jaguar brand, the concept car made an important statement for Jaguar, commemorating 75 years of design and luxury.

The enthusiasm emitting from David Steele was inspiring as he talked of Jaguar Land Rover’s vision. ‘For JLR it is all about investment and results, as we hope our new models will highlight. There is a huge demand for our brands in the Middle East, making the Dubai Motor Show one of the most important dates in our calendar. We are very excited to be here.’

Steele talked more about the development of Jaguar, and the way in which they are reaching out to a new, young and exciting audience with their 5.0 litre, V8 supercharged XKR-S model. ‘We have placed a firm investment over the world into our motors, culminating this year with the release of the XKR-S. This car epitomises everything the new Jaguar brand stands for. It proves that Jaguar is a world leader in the automotive industry’.
